KATRI SOINIS'S WORKSHOPS

CONTENTS AND TARGET GROUPS

Dance artist Katri Soini has many years´ experience as a dance pedagogue. She has run numerous courses and workshops both in Finland and abroad.

In Katri Soini´s courses, dancers and students work listening to their bodies, aiming at deeper understanding of motions and movements. Soini is particularly interested in body articulation and motion quality.

Exercises are based on Soini´s experience from various traditions of modern dance, and influenced by her work with numerous choreographies. Soini´s experience and background can be seen in her pedagogical style and capability to place herself in students´ position.

Katri Soini´s courses and workshops are suitable for hobbyists, dance students and professional dancers interested in analysing and brightening up their body and motion consciousness. Contents and forms in every course are planned and implemented according to ability groups.
